Amazon Peacock Bass Expedition — Brazil
Join Fish and Explore on an extraordinary journey into the heart of the Brazilian Amazon. In partnership with River Plate Anglers — pioneers of Amazon peacock bass fishing since 1992 — we fish exclusive private rivers spanning 35 million acres of protected indigenous lands and nature preserves, where no other outfitter is permitted to go.
Our self-contained River Trains provide luxury floating accommodations right in the middle of the action, moving almost daily to fresh, unfished water and blending refined comfort with the untamed beauty of the Amazon jungle just outside your door. You only need to get yourself to Manaus — a 4.5-hour direct flight from Miami in the same time zone — and we handle everything else.
Peacock bass are pound-for-pound among the most powerful freshwater fish on the planet: explosively aggressive, brilliantly colored in gold, black, and orange, and strikingly large. Our boats average 20+ fish per day including trophies well over 20 lbs across four species. But the experience goes beyond the fish — the Amazon itself, with its towering jungle, white sand beaches, clear black-water rivers, and extraordinary wildlife, is one of the last truly wild places left.
